The mindful practices of yoga attract many people for a number of reasons. Yoga is viewed as a practice that transforms your day to day living. As with most of these services offered, yoga brings awareness to our lives, and to our daily situations we face. Developing a yoga practice does not stop at gaining awareness, but Yoga is the teacher of mental balance. It teaches us how to balance our multiple aspects of our lives, as well as, balance the multiple imbalances we may have, both mind and body. Our bodies and cognitive faculties function better when they are both aligned and healthy.


The Sister Sciences
Yoga and Ayurveda
While distinct disciplines, their shared roots and complementary nature makes them sister sciences. Not one alone can teach an individual on how one can heal, but together they can complete the learning and healing. Ayurveda can be viewed as the wellness and physical science whereas Yoga is the spiritual and philosophy of wellbeing. They share in thought of the body, mind, and spirit connection. Both emphasize the balance the importance of balance, harmony, and self-awareness for overall well-being.
